A Tiny Update!

Not off to a good start to this year as I've had three illnesses in a row, including Covid-19! So I haven't been able to do an awful lot of anything, including blog work. Now busily trying to catch up with so many jobs so I apologise for not adding any articles yet. Getting there, and also I've managed to do the odd bits to blog posts that are waiting in the wings.

Just another bit of news. My website is being changed yet again to a new web builder in March. I can either keep it as it is, work on it again if it's usable once more, or let it go and just keep the blog. I'll see what happens when it changes over and if I decide to delete it I'll give a decent amount of notice on both blog & website.

Next up will be Coastal Erosion in Seaton, followed by Upcott House, which is new and not on my website. I've put some photos of both on this page for a taste of things to come.

Hope you are all keeping well and stay safe everyone. Hopefully see you soon :)

  1. Sorry to here you have had that dreaded covid 19, so pleased you are over it and recovering. I always enjoy what you add. Back in 1954 I was born in Whitford so I am a local lad and I know may of the places you have been too.

  2. Thank you very much for your kind words and good wishes. It's really nice to hear from someone local who enjoys seeing the places I put on my blog. Cheers and all the best. :)

  3. Are you aware that another pillbox was revealed yesterday above Axmouth Harbour. It is obviously the second one in the Stop Line. We climbed down to it yesterday through the woods above. It looks like it is in its original condition.

  4. Ah, yes I was, as it's on the original WW2 map. In fact there's two, numbered 5.92 and 5.93, the Stop Line numbers starting at the other end. The coastal battery is the last one but isn't numbered. Sadly I couldn't find either and wondered if one or both were in the woods, so well done for finding it. That's brilliant. :)
